Hello, all! I am curious to know if anyone watches the show House, on Fox. The official title is House MD, I believe, but better known as House. I didn't used to watch it, because most TV sucks these days. but a friend sent me the first season, and now I'm interested. So what do you think of it, good, bad, or indifferent?
Thanks for starting this topic. I love that show! *smile* My sister had introduced me to it earlier this year because she knows I'm interested in medical topics, and although I liked it, at first, I didn't keep up with it. But after about a few weeks I began watching it regularly and have mostly kept up with it since then. My favorite character is Dr. House, of course. It's weird; although it sometimes personally takes me a few seconds to get sarcasm and I hate it when someone uses it directly at me, House is actually funny a lot of the time. *smile* I also like how he seems to be easily able to figure out other people. My least favorite is Stacy because it seems to me as if she wasn't sure what she wanted (I could be wrong on that, but that's what it seemed like to me anyway). I wonder why she left him in the first place if he seemed to really like her; I don't think that was ever explained, or maybe I missed that one.
Oh! And I found a very useful site a few weeks ago that I know would be cool for y'all. I like it because it's almost like getting audio description, a little after the origional show, but it's still something. *smile* The address is http://www.twiztv.com/scripts/house/ . Hi, all! Sorry I haven't been posting in my own topic as of late. I think the reason that Stacy left House is because he was so bitter about what she'd done to him. If you remember in the episode Three Stories, she basically saved his life, but he lost most of the use of his leg. He never forgave her for it. He started shutting her out of his life. I wish she hadn't left him. But she was ready to come back to him in the episode Need to Know, and House pushed her away.
I think outside of House, my favorite character is chase, mostly because of that awesome Aussie accent. I can't say I'm a big fan of Cameronn. she gets on my nerves.

I'm a Wilson fangirl, all the way. Yum yum. Cuddy and House rock considerably as well. Cameron needs a good slap, and then a better slap, and I have a soft spot for Chais. He's so unashamedly screwed up, you gotta love that.
And the sabatical? What's with that? There's only been, what, five episodes? And we have to wait? Waaaaa! What will help me hide from study?

Hi, folks! Resonant, I agree with you on Cameron. The only times I've liked her are in season 3, episodes 2 and 3. In episode 2, she stands up for House when Wilson is being a jerk. I don't know what green leafy stuff the writers were smoking when they had Wilson lie to House like that. and then in Episode 3, Cameron actually grew some balls, so to speak. Well, shouldn't say that, given the episode in season 2 where the girl anatomically had balls. LOL. And yes, Torrents are my friend too, since I don't have cable either.
House is a pretty good show. But as far as the current shows on fox, Bones is my favorite. They are both produced well however.
Someone else was recommending Bones the other day.... maybe worth a look? Also, it has David Boreanas, which is always a good start. *g*
Re: the season 3 plot-line, I liked Wilson and Cuddy's secret, precisely because it was such an ethically dodgy and downright lousy thing to do. I like my characters flawed and human, and the older trio seem to deliver that, while continuing to be awesome and lovable. So yeah, I was cheering House on when he was letting Wilson have it, but I'm holding out for another emotionally charged scene where they make up. Or, don't make up, but get back to being all snippy and domestic and cute again.

Detective Tritter's real motive is behind the crap he's pulling? On the TWOP site, they've named him Shitter, by the way. TWOP usually annoys me, but I like that one. And now House and Wilson are really on the rocks. Thoughts, anyone?
I think I am behind and haven't seen that one yet. I also think I need to get used to not seeing them when everyone else does because I am going to lose Fox if the people that own my fox affiliate, and my cable company don't get thier heads out of their asses. I love that show though, and I like Cameron for the most part. She's a bit too soft, but there needs to be someone to bandage the poor patients ego's after they get chewed on by House.
I fell in love with House the first time I saw it. I think it's one of the best shows on tv, and Hou Lorry, [House], is so! good. I also like Chase, cause I to am Australian, and he was on Neighbours for a few years when he was younger. He wasn't as good back then, as he is now though.
hate that show.
OK, so the ark involving Detective Tritter just wrapped up this past week. What do you all think of it? Did you like the ending, or not? Do you really think Cuddy is going to try to make House walk the line now?
Oh, and my favorite temporary character on the show was Mattie, the dwarf-mom from the recent Christmas episode. She was hilarious.
